Clutch Reveals Earth Rocker Album Art

With a little bit more than three months left before the release of CLUTCH’s highly anticipated new studio effort Earth Rocker, the band has officially unveiled the album’s artwork and has announced the initial dates for the first leg of the North American Earth Rocker world tour.

The artwork was created by Nick Lakiotes, long time CLUTCH art director, who has worked on previous efforts including: Robot Hive/Exodus and Strange Cousins From the West.

  • I am the rocker! The Earth rocker! With a hammer swinging like John Cocker,
    Rock and roll, will fill this hole, like a six-string beta blocker;
    He’s got the rhythm, and spirit with him, a beard like Lincoln, and a mind ever-thinkin’,
    So lay it down, and spin your lady around, ’cause the concert hall sure ain’t shrinkin’!

  • Nice finalized artwork for the cover. Has a bit of Hawkwind feel to it from here. Totally stoked I get to spend the Last Day of the World with Clutch here in Denver, eh? Looking forward to hearing some new material from the album. No other band today even comes close to the awesomeness known as CLUTCH!

  • After having read how you came up with the artwork, I still think someone was thinking along the lines of Dr. Theopolis from Buck Rogers. http://m1knight.prekfun.com/cylon/Cylon-Knight_ComputerCouncilMemberMarkI_for_web.jpg and the symbol on the CD is bugging me cos I have seen it before somewhere…
